The Legend of a Legend \m/

    Let's start off with a little introduction about me and my family. My name is Carl Joseph Lagahit. People call me "Cj" or "Ceej". I am created in the image of the Lord and my mom and dad, of course. I have a nickname "Otep" which is kind of weird. Now, my dad's name is Leornardo Lagahit and my mom is Charisse Lagahit. Both of 'em are hardworking, caring, loving, and kind. I have a big brother, Alstaire James "Aj" Lagahit. He is known as the "Big Man" in our family. How will I start with this? Hmmmm...

     My characteristics? Full of surprises, let me tell you that. One second I'm happy and just enjoying the little and big things in life then a second after that I'm cursing. I'm no sadist nor a masochist, for sure. I'm fun loving, kind, friendly, thick face, and proud to be me. I don't know what to say but my characteristics change over time. "If you love me, I'll love you back in a certain way" this is what my characteristic truly is. I am easy to talk to but if you ever ruin a thing that I like or love to do most, I may just have to set an example of what I'm going to do to you. Over all I'm Cj and you don't know what to expect from me. Smile.

    Now, about my hobbies. I do like to play a lot of computer games, watch movies, think a lot, read comic books and books but with pictures in it, and play with legos. Me and my friends like Dexter Yap, Aaron Violan, Mark Malinao, Charles Chua, John Fabian, Grant Wee Eng, and many more loves to play this addictive game called Dota 2. We really enjoy the company of each other when playing that game even though sometimes we have a little misunderstanding. I also like to watch movies like Lone Survivor, World War Z, Sherlock, and even My Little Pony. I am not much a fan of sports but i do play Badminton.Now, that you know my hobbies don't try to be like me, just be yourself.

    What can I say, that is one way to say I'm a legend. From the creation of me, out of my mother's womb and in to the prophecy my mother and father made just for me to the Cj I am right now. I am really thankful to the Lord and my family for supporting me, taking care of me, loving me, and even scolding me because without those things I wouldn't be a legend. Before I go I would like to say something: You know almost all of the mothers give birth to a healthy young boy or a girl but my mother gave birth to a LEGEND.

Education: The Key To Success

    Education is one step closer to achieving a successful life.Without education, how can we  start as a student? Now, education is the one that gives us a pathway towards jobs, experiences, and a way towards God. I do believe that education is the key to success.

    What are the goals of education? Well, most people would say that education's goal is to let the students learn. Simple as that. Also,  one goal is to make all of the student's studies be a use to their everyday lives. Of course, what does education focus more one? Education focus on making people smart and making them understand each and every problem. It encourages us on avoiding a certain thing that enhances our knowledge. Lastly, one of the many goals of education is to make students like you and me to become an ideal citizen.

    The advantages of education is that it brings knowledge to our brains. With education, we would be able to know what is right and what is wrong. Education gives us a deep understanding in our lives. It gives us an understanding through hardship. The advantages is far more giving than the disadvantages of education. For instance, the disadvantage of less time for sleeping is countered by a huge score in a quiz or on a test. In education you must be willing to take the risk and give a little sacrifice because I know that feeling when a person achieve a wonderful grade that creates our future in a much better way. It is knowing that education is the greatest key to success.

    This I say that education is the key to a successful life. We should think about it, about what it could bring us. We must thank the one who invented this magnificent method in learning because in education, a new us is created. In education, our future is being created step-bu-step. In education, we become a success.

Technology: What It Brings

    Technology is one of the many reasons why the world is growing faster and bigger. In short, the world is excelling because of technologies. From time to time, a lot of technologies are being produced and those technologies may either help people or bring them harm.The craftsmanship of these great inventors will take our world to the next level but what does technology brings to us?

    Technology brings a ton of advantages in the daily lives of the people. It can produce medicines that can cure a lot of sickness and disorders. The technology today brings a lot of profits in the community. Technologies like cell phones, computers and televisions provides new ways of communication. With those built in cameras and instant messaging, there is no doubt that technologies has brought a lot of disadvantages in our lives. Also, with the new way of communication most of the people can now do online jobs, online shopping and many more with just a simple chat, a simple click, and a simple send.

    Among all the advantages of technologies, there are somehow some disadvantages that keep bugging people who are using these technologies. For instance, it corrupts the mind of the minors who are using technologies through violent videos, adult videos (porn) and even the radiation that technologies like cell phone gives off. Another example is the production of illegal medicines such as ecstasy, LSD, cocaine and many more. This makes me wonder about the advantages that it brings us. Also, production of illegal weapons and illegal copies of movies and such. It destroys the social lives of many and it ironically stated that technologies "Brings people closer". Of course, there is no doubt that technology has affected our lives in different ways.

    By the creation of technologies, people should thank those great inventors about them. It makes their lives easier but they shouldn't take it for granted or use it too much. Technology has affected our lives through good and bad but overall we should just be thankful for everything it has done. Technology is for the people, by the people but the question is, is it for humanity?

Methods of Learning

    Traditional learning and independent learning have similarities. They also have a ton of differences. Traditional learning being "spoon-fed" which most of the people started out as a child. Independent learning, on the other hand is more on self dependent rather than looking for help on other people. Independent learning and traditional learning give most of the people's mind a huge question, "What are their differences?".

    Independent and traditional learning are both educational in a way that students gain a lot of knowledge. Both methods have educational methods of learning. Whatever kind of learning it is they both give students knowledge, understanding, and even process. Both methods, independent and traditional learning aim to aid the students in their daily learning and both give a huge change in life.

    Upon all those similarities above, there are some differences that questions most of the people's mind. Independent learning is much more self efficient compared to traditional learning. The differences in both the methods of learning is that one needs the help of an experienced person and the other is all by itself. How does one know if he or she keeps on depending on other people or maybe even other people's work? On the other hand, how does one learn all by himself or herself without the help of a teacher or even the parents? In traditional learning, the teacher discuss the lesson and then give the lessons's activities but it is the other way around in independent learning.

    Whatever the method is, whoever the teacher is, it is still a gain on our education. It is the quality that matters, not the quantity. People should be thankful for these methods to arrive in our daily lives. In independent learning we must strive for ourselves. In traditional learning we seek for help among the experienced people. It is learning that lets us answer a certain question, it is learning that gives us gain and more importantly, it is learning that makes us who we are.
